Temporary Accounting Specialist

Location: Broken Arrow
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Status: Full-Time, Temporary
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

We’re seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting functions, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and assist the Controller as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience looking to contribute to a reputable company with solid leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting entries and resolve vendor/customer issues for multiple entities utilizing Quickbooks

• Reconcile bank accounts and process general ledger transactions

• Maintain documentation for subcontractors (W-9s, COIs, exemptions)

• Administer company credit card program and track expenses

• Assist with job costing, asset tracking, and financial reporting

• Support accounts payable and payment processing

• Provide backup support to the Controller as needed

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality across tasks

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience utilizing QBO

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions

• Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
