Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders and Servers to join our team. This will be a part-time position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, ensuring the bar area is clean and organized, and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. As a part-time bartender, your schedule and hours will vary and be based on business demand. Shifts may start as early as 1pm and end as late as 1am.

Duties

• Bartender - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Bartender - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
• Bartender - Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
• Handle cash, card, and room charge transactions accurately using POS system.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and organizing the liquor room
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets or special events.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender or server in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in hotels
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Experience in banquet settings is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
• Proficiency with TOAST POS systems for processing orders and payments.
• A passion for mixology with an eagerness to learn new techniques and recipes.
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Must have a valid San Bernardino County Food Handler card or the willing ability to obtain one within 7 days of hire
