*Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. This role is crucial in supporting individuals with various needs, including memory care and dementia care, as well as working with people with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to resident rights and patient care, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.

MUST HAVE CURRENT CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) LICENSE IN STATE OF WASHINGTON.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting independence while providing necessary support.
* Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of resident health.
* Provide compassionate care to individuals with memory impairments and dementia, utilizing effective communication techniques.
* Support residents with developmental disabilities, fostering an inclusive and respectful environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living spaces to promote a healthy atmosphere.
* Uphold resident rights by advocating for their needs and preferences in all interactions.
* Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any concerns promptly.

*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of memory care practices and dementia care techniques is a plus.
* Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe living environment for residents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.30 - $26.15 per hour
