  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for both legacy and modernized applications.
  • Create legacy documentation and migrated applications, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintainability.
  • Work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of COBOL development experience in mainframe (IBM Z/OS, AS/400) or Micro Focus environments.
  • Strong understanding of COBOL batch and online processing, JCL, CICS, and DB2 or VSAM.
  • Experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) and familiarity with object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of migration strategies from legacy systems to modern platforms.
  • Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with middleware tools for migration, such as Micro Focus COBOL, TIBCO, or MuleSoft.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based migration solutions (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
