Job Description

Our client is an established commercial general contractor in the Carolina's and they specialize in healthcare, education, public/government, multifamily, and various other commercial projects. They need a solid Superintendent with relevant experience for some ongoing and upcoming projects in the Charleston area.

Title : Superintendent

Start Date : Flexible, but the sooner the better

Locations : Charleston, SC

Travel : Limited to Charleston Metro Area

Pay Range : Depends on experience, but a rough range for the base is $100-140k

Market Sector : Commercial

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
• Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs
• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
• Create schedules for workers and subcontractors
• Other standard duties

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on commercial projects (healthcare/education preferable)
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Managment, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent
• Experience running $5-25M projects
• Prior experience working for a commercial general contractor required
