Job Description: Construction SUPERINTENDENT - OSHPD/HCAI

FULL TIME: Competitive Salary, Medical, Benefits.

We are seeking a reliable Superintendent to supervise project field construction to ensure all work is completed on schedule safely, within budget, on time, to a high quality of workmanship. Experience in OSHPD/HCAI commercial construction experience is required. You will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in preparation and execution of construction.

Responsibilities:

• Commitment to completion of projects on time and within budget
• Proven and effective management skills over contracted trades as well as provide leadership to workman.
• Coordinate all work with the Project Manager.
• Maintain complete knowledge of project details.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Meet and collaborate with subcontractor foremen, review plans, revisions and requirements.
• Liaison with corporate and suppliers.
• Verify subcontractor work.
• Prepare and monitor RFIs
• Maintain daily reports of work completed and labor and materials employed.
• Cooperate with and direct as necessary, the activities of the inspection agencies and to affect remedial actions indicated by the reports of these agencies.
• Ensure that subcontractors enforce their safety programs including the holding of safety meetings. Refer and adhere to the EH BUTLAND safety manual and OSHA regulations.

Required skills and experience:

• 6 years as a superintendent in full charge of projects with OSHPD/HCAI experience is a MUST
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications for building.
• Ability to resolve field versus plans related discrepancies with a “can do attitude”.
• Working knowledge of relevant trades involved in project.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Depends on experience, $145,000 - $150,000 per year

Schedule: 8 hour shift
