JOB TITLE: Contract Accounting Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Contract Accounting Manager
LOCATION: Dallas, TX | Phoenix, AZ | Denver, CO
DAYS: Monday - Friday
HOURS: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Hybrid Schedule)

JOB OVERVIEW:
The successful candidate will be part of a fun, dedicated team focused on supporting and growing our business. We're looking for someone who has a positive, "can do" attitude, thrives in a fast paced environment and gets along well with diverse personalities. The right person for this role likes to shine both as an individual contributor and as a strong team player. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely support to the Contract Accounting Manager to ensure proper billing standards are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Service assigned contracts from start to finish to ensure proper billing and expenses
  • Assist in managing the Contract Process and ensure it is being followed
  • Complete and return contract lien waivers
  • Check contract billings weekly for accuracy and revise if incorrect
  • Receivables for contracts (ensure timely payments as per contracts)
  • Account reconciliations as needed
  • Prepare all subcontractor lien waivers for contracts and give to Ops for signatures. Submit with contract billing.
  • Prepare for and attend monthly AR meetings for accounts meeting criteria as set by CFO
  • Possible other duties as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Our ideal candidate is someone with Contract and AIA experience
  • Proactive problem solver; able to address issues and research/resolve discrepancies
  • Excel - 2+ years of work-based experience using copy, paste and the SUM function
  • Experience using Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets
  • Effective communication skills: communicates clearly over the phone, possesses professional writing skills to create emails, documents, etc.
  • Must be adaptable and ready to apply changes.
  • Takes pride in what they accomplish
  • Relatable, able to get-along easily with others, outgoing, and has a friendly personality
  • Will go the 'extra mile' to 'exceed' expectations, high work ethic
