Join to apply for the Director, Event Presentation & Events role at Miami Marlins and loanDepot park Position Summary The Director of Game Presentation and Events is responsible for planning, management, execution, and review of all Miami Marlins live events. Although the focus will be on game presentation, this person will also oversee all team-related events both onsite and offsite. Essential Functions Develop, implement, and review the game presentation plan for 81 home games, including pre-season and playoff games. Manage elements associated with game presentation, such as the Marlins Energy Team, Mascot, game presentation hosts, PA announcer, organ player, etc. Ensure departmental needs are met for all non-baseball events at Marlins Park, including researching and booking entertainment for post-game and outside events. Develop, implement, and review live events plans for other team-related events like the World Series Party, Rally Monday, etc. Coordinate communication between departments regarding these events. Research and book entertainment for these events. Negotiate, close, and evaluate promotional deals related to entertainment for these events. Create in-game elements and programs to maximize revenue and promote products and services. Oversee the creation of graphics, videos, and announcements for game presentation, sponsorships, ticket sales, and other events. Develop and review the game script and coordinate with departments for execution. Create new revenue-generating marketing and sponsorship programs. Support the career and personal growth of department members. Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing and other departments. Participate in brainstorming sessions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Preferred experience in sports and entertainment industries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and proactive problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports, or Business Management. At least 5 years of experience in live entertainment and event production/planning preferred.
