Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Specialist responsible for managing and maintaining production and quality documents. This role ensures accurate storage and organization of documents, supporting compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• File and maintain production and quality documents, ensuring accurate storage and organization.
• Manage and maintain the document room to ensure quick access during audits or investigations.
• Digitize paper records through scanning and upload them into the document management system.
• Retrieve documentation as requested by internal teams or external partners.
• Coordinate with a third-party storage provider to request or send overflow documents.
• Uphold good documentation practices (GDP) and support compliance with quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in document control, quality assurance, and data entry.
• Proficiency in scanning, filing, copying, and archiving.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and GMP.
• Experience with batch record review and documentation quality assurance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Technically savvy and comfortable with scanning software and document systems.
• Familiarity with quality assurance knowledge is a plus.
• Previous experience in biotech or pharma preferred but open to diverse backgrounds.

Work Environment

The position requires working 100% onsite from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role is within a quality team comprising 7-10 people. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting and driving communication across various groups.

This is a Contract position based out of Winslow, ME.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
