Graphic Design Specialist

On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Graphic Design Specialist for a 12-month contract. This position is onsite at our client’s Getzville, New York office.

Graphic Design Specialist - Job Description:

The Senior Graphics Designer will work within the Presentation Technology team, providing advanced design services to internal banking clients. The role involves creating high-quality marketing and deal materials, ensuring adherence to the clients brand standards, and contributing to high-profile investment banking transactions.

Graphic Design Specialist- Responsibilities:

• Produce a variety of marketing materials using MS Office and Adobe applications to an advanced level

• Assist with the production of creative PPT pitch books and offer conceptual and visual solutions

• Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations

• Ensure all materials produced are correctly branded and advise clients on brand use

• Liaise with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines and design requirements

• Complete related admin for accurate work billing and job tracking

• Assist with Intake coordination when required

• Perform quality control of own work and assist colleagues with QC tasks

• Mentor new starters post-training

• Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives

Graphic Design Specialist - Mandatory Skills:

• 3-5 years of admin/operational support in a corporate, service-oriented environment

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)

• Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy

• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Graphic Design Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, and Blender

• Knowledge of external print processes

• Creativity and strong understanding of graphic design principles

• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills

• Problem-solving abilities and readiness to follow processes
