They are looking to bring on a Consumer Staples Analyst to join their Long/Short equity team. Job Description: As a Consumer Staples Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities within the sector. You will leverage your analytical skills and industry knowledge to support the Consumer sector lead and contribute to the overall performance of the fund. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators impacting the Consumer Staples sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of Consumer Staples companies.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators impacting the sector.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive investment reports and presentations for the investment committee.
• Collaborate with other analysts and sector leads to ensure a cohesive investment approach.
• Utilize alternative data and technology resources to enhance the research process.
• Stay updated on industry developments and continuously refine analytical methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in equity research or the buy-side with a focus on Consumer Staples.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to generate investment ideas.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory landscape.
• Strong interest in incorporating alternative data and other tech-related resources into the research process.
