Job Description: Jr. Geospatial Trainer/Outreach

The Sr. Geospatial Trainer/Outreach Specialist will design and deliver training programs and outreach initiatives for DHS geospatial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop training curricula for geospatial tools and applications.
• Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Create user guides, manuals, and tutorials.
• Organize outreach events and webinars.
• Gather user feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, GIS, or related field.
• 2+ years in training and instructional design.

• 6+ years of experience required without a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with geospatial software training.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DHS training programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning methodologies.

Security Clearance

• The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination, complete the Entry on Duty (EOD) process, and pass required background checks. U.S. citizenship is required.
