CRi is a well-known non-profit organization located throughout Northern VA, Richmond VA , and Maryland that is dedicated to providing quality services to enable individuals with a wide range of disabilities to live as independently as possible.

We are hiring Life Coaches for our Adult Day Support Program in Chantilly, VA !

CRi's Life Coach is a day support and community program position supporting individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, exhibiting high intensity behaviors. Our Life Coaches provide life/social skill training, community integration supports, and aid in making meaningful community connections while implementing Person Centered Plans, Behavior Support Plans, and crisis response strategies.

Location: Chantilly, VA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Compensation: $20.79/hr

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications Required:

•Must have a High School diploma.

•Minimum of one (1) year working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a day program.

•Knowledge of high intensity behavioral supports is a must.

•Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Demands:

•Ability to walk, stand, stoop and push a wheelchair.

•Ability to be out in a variety of weather.

•Ability to lift 70 pounds repetitively.

•Ability to implement strategic physical intervention techniques that require rapid physical movement.

Working Environment:

Indoor and Outdoor program site and various community locations. Must use universal precautions.
