ComForCare (North County San Diego) is dedicated to providing exceptional support and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Job Summary:

This role offers an engaging and dynamic environment dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional/Life Coach, you will bring energy and enthusiasm to providing personalized support, guidance, and encouragement. Your efforts will empower individuals to achieve their personal goals, enhance their quality of life, and foster greater independenceall within the comfort of their home environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education in human services or related fields preferred.
• Had 6 or more months of prior hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must be comfortable in using multiple computer/mobile device programs.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and be listed on the Home Care Aide Registry. (We can help you with this)
• Negative TB testing and CPR Certificate (We can help you with this)
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written plan of Care/Aide Plan.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
