Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and manage international and domestic shipments by working closely with both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with regulatory requirements and are accompanied by accurate documentation, such as commercial invoices and packing lists, submitted promptly to carriers or forwarders.
  • Collaborate with Production and Sales teams to plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of samples, materials, and products from suppliers to customers.
  • Work with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to optimize transportation and delivery processes.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for the international transportation of life science products.
  • Track shipments, address delays promptly, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to logistics and shipping.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and logistics data for reporting and analysis.
  • Negotiate contracts and freight rates with carriers and vendors to control costs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in the biosciences or related industries.
  • Proven track record in logistics or supply chain roles, particularly involving international shipments.
  • Strong knowledge of policies and procedures governing the international transport of life science products.
  • Preferred languages: English and Chinese, due to frequent communication with diverse stakeholders, including international partners and vendors.
