Join our dynamic team in a hybrid role, where you'll spend three days in the office each week. Our first preference for location is either Pittsburgh or Cleveland. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in technology, and experience in the banking industry is a plus.

Summary

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software, including operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. You will create the software platform and fine-tune the final program after its development.

Key Responsibilities

Transition to new vendor products and utilize various transmission protocols.
Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Systemware to define and generate reports.
Engage in conversion activities and produce ad-hoc reports as needed.

Required Skills :

JCL: Expertise in Job Control Language to manage and execute batch jobs efficiently.
COBOL (Batch & Online): Proficient in COBOL programming for both batch and online processing, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions.
DB2: Experience with DB2 databases, including design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems.

Job Responsibilities

Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces to enhance performance.
Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure design outcomes and consequences.
Collaborate with engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, and resolve customer issues.
Advise customers on or perform maintenance of the software system.
