Job Description

Performs analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Testing is performed in specialized laboratories and may include highly skilled manual techniques or automated testing using sophisticated instrumentation. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting assays, evaluating tests for accuracy, assisting with interpreting results, and operational support activities to optimize testing. Works with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results. May work with minimal supervision and may assist with specimen collection. Must strictly adhere to safety protocols to work with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards. This role is in the Cell Kinetics Lab with a focus on Flow Cytometry or Cell Sorting experience.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline

+ Instrumentation Experience/Troubleshooting from academia or industry

+ Chemistry

+ Biology

+ Research experience preferred but not required

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rochester, Minnesota. Most employees have relocated from other states or cities!

Work Environment

Cell Kinetics Lab. Monday - Friday, Day Shift, start times vary from 7-8:30 am, 1 out of 3 Saturdays. When you work the Saturday, you have the following Monday as a comp day.
