Job Description
Triad Church of Christ is looking for a part-time Children's Minister to help our children grow in the word of God and in the way of Jesus. Candidates must be an immersed believer in Jesus Christ and must be currently an active member in a church. Must have experience in teaching the Bible and working with children in a church environment. Church references will be required. Much of the preparation for this job can be done at home in your spare time. You must be available on Sundays and on Wednesday nights. We also have children's activities on Saturdays several times a year. You will have an office at the Church building with a desk, whiteboard, computer and a printer to work with. At present we have seven children attending regularly and three current teachers who teach the younger children. Hours usually needed at the church on Sunday are from 10:00 AM until Noon, and on Wednesday 6:30-8:00 PM. You will often be working alongside the Preaching Minister who has been at TCC for ten years. He will assist you in organizing Vacation Bible School and special events. Average hours per week expected are 15-20 hours. Starting salary is $400 per week. After 6 months you will receive 1 week of paid vacation and after 1 year 2 weeks paid vacation.
