Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Part-Time Software Application Tester in San Luis Obispo , CA. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic team of technical professionals. This role is ideal for a technically savvy Higher Education student seeking a part-time job with a flexible schedule. As a Part-Time Software Application Tester you will perform independent verification & validation of requirements by creating, running, and evaluating manual and automated tests. You will document defects and confirm their resolution. Position Responsibilities: Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of manual & automated test cases to verify software performance and function Identifies and documents defects Collects, inputs, and analyzes data for software metrics of limited scope and complexity using established procedures Uses software tools to troubleshoot problems Performs other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Software troubleshooting experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Enrolled in or completed Higher Education STEM background, technical writing Software programming/scripting experience Drug Free Workplace: We are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
