Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in North Carolina. This 15-day assignment begins on 06/16/2025, with 8a - 5p shifts from Mondays - Fridays. The physician will primarily treat breast, lung, and prostate cancer cases, utilizing IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS techniques. Additional responsibilities include participating in morning team meetings, tumor boards, patient consultations, and follow-ups. The role requires proficiency in Epic and Mosaiq systems and also offers the potential for extension. Job Details: Location: North Carolina Facility Type: Hospital Start Date: 06/16/2025 LOA: 15 days (with potential for extension) Provider Type Needed: Radiation Oncologist Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Responsibilities and Duties: Provide radiation oncology services, primarily for breast, lung, and prostate cancer cases Perform IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS treatments Participate in morning team meetings and tumor boards Conduct patient consultations and follow-up appointments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for SBRT case reviews Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary Utilize Epic and Mosaiq systems for patient management and documentation Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance measures Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology techniques and technologies Additional Information: Must be licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS required Strong clinical skills in treating breast, lung, and prostate cancers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced oncology setting Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to cover additional dates in June, July, and potentially in 2026 Apply now to learn more!
