Job Description

Our client is seeking a Production Operator to join their team on 3RD SHIFT. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing environments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer/PIV Operator
Location: Ames, IA
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Hours: 11:00pm-7:00am Sunday-Thursday

What's the Job?

• Utilize laser machine to cut different sizes of sandpaper.
• Perform a variety of general manual labor tasks including heavy lifting and moving of materials.
• Load and unload sandpaper off the production line and pack into boxes.
• Operate powered industrial trucks or tractors to move materials around a warehouse or construction site.
• Follow generally defined procedures and work direction to complete assigned tasks.

What's Needed?

• Must be able to work a long shift standing.
• 2+ years of Production/Warehouse/Machine Operator experience. Forklift experience preferred.
• Have excellent attendance.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and vision & hearing test.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
