Hiring Opportunity: Canton OH

Our client is looking for a Production Scheduler to join their second shift team! Our client is a leading manufacture in the area and has been in business for over 75 years!

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules, analyzing production data, and optimize resources to minimize downtime.

Qualified candidates will need to be experienced in Production Planning with a background in Metal Fabrication, shop floor experience, supply chain, and certified in CPIM.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on demand, capacity, and available
resources.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials
and labor.
- Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling conflicts to meet deadlines.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments.
- Use ERP/MRP systems to manage scheduling and inventory data.
- Generate reports on production performance and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with supply chain teams to anticipate and mitigate risks affecting production timelines.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor"s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a
related field (preferred but not always required).
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or supply chain
management.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling and planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP/MRP systems).
- Strong knowledge of production processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and capacity
planning.
- Ability to analyze production data, lead times, and inventory levels to optimize schedules.
