Fort Lauderdale, FL (Travel required across South Florida – West Palm to Miami)

Full-Time, Direct Hire

Salary Range: $125,000 – $155,000 + $600 Car Allowance + Benefits DOE

About the Role:

Our client, a growing and respected self-perform concrete contractor, is seeking a Project Manager with deep experience in large-scale, multi-story concrete construction projects . This role offers the opportunity to lead turnkey concrete packages from start to finish, working with some of the top construction professionals in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee self-perform concrete construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Develop project schedules, labor plans, and ensure cost-effective use of resources
• Lead submittal, RFI, procurement, and document control processes
• Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and clients on project delivery
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence
• Lead project meetings , track status reports, and resolve constructability issues
• Work closely with accounting and estimating teams to manage budgets, changes, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety standards , and industry best practices
• Travel to job sites across South Florida as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience)
• 10+ years of experience managing large concrete construction projects (including multi-story buildings for over $70M)
• Experience working for self-perform concrete teams (SPT) — preferred companies include McCarthy, Sundt, DPR, Turner, Baker, Donley, JE Dunn, Adjustable Concrete
• Strong understanding of BIM, formwork, rebar installation, flatwork, and architectural concrete
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, AutoCAD, Project Management tools
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Must be able to travel to multiple active sites within the South Florida region

Preferred Background:

• Concrete project portfolio including multi-level structures , commercial, healthcare, or education builds
• Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and under budget
• Knowledge of project safety compliance and field operations best practices
• Strong professional references with a track record of field leadership
