Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Texas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the design and execution of municipal water systems, looking to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple water and wastewater projects from planning through completion, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget
  • Manage the design, implementation, and optimization of water treatment systems, pipelines, reservoirs, and related infrastructure
  • Control project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained
  • Create and review technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and project proposals
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates and ensure accurate project forecasting
  • Supervise and guide junior engineers, drafters, and technical staff in their day-to-day tasks and project activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining strong relationships
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the team and ensure efficient communication across all project phases

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a closely related field
  • 6-12 years of experience in managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with a variety of water treatment systems, distribution networks, storage projects, and groundwater management
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to acquire within six months
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, including innovative solutions and critical analysis
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with full responsibility for budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage client relationships
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage diverse project teams
