Pressed Juicery is hiring a Quality Assurance & Food Safety Associate (6 month contract) in Fresno, CA! This is an exciting opportunity to drive quality assurance across our manufacturing environment, and act as the support to our QA teams in Fresno and Dinuba, CA.

Note: this position is required to be onsite at our manufacturing locations in Fresno and Dinuba CA.

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance & Food Safety Associate to support our beverage manufacturing facility. This individual will assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, the role involves leading or supporting special assignments, including the development of procedures, creation of standardized forms, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the quality assurance and food safety programs, including inspections, audits, and monitoring activities.
• Support compliance with FDA, HACCP, GMPs, and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct verification and validation of production processes, sanitation procedures, and product testing.
• Create, update, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Design and implement user-friendly forms and checklists for quality and production teams.
• Support training efforts on quality and food safety policies, procedures, and practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and R&D teams on quality-related initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and BRCGS or similar certification programs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
