Sakurai Press Operator Join our dynamic team as a
Sakurai Press Operator , where you'll operate state-of-the-art Sakurai silkscreen printing presses to produce high-quality secured products like cards and packaging. •Your role will directly impact the delivery of exceptional products that meet and exceed customer expectations.
What You'll Do: - Press Mastery : Operate and maintain Sakurai silkscreen printing presses to deliver top-tier secured products.
- Screen Preparation : Coat screens with emulsion and image them using advanced direct-to-screen Sign Tronic technology. •
- Production Records : Maintain precise job data and audit logs to ensure quality and traceability.
- Efficiency Champion : Maximize press output, minimize downtime, and optimize waste management processes. ?
- Inventory Management : Monitor and communicate material needs to ensure seamless job transitions.
- Maintenance : Conduct general upkeep and minor repairs on equipment for optimal performance.
- Safety First : Adhere to Health and Safety, Environmental, and Security standards.
- Teamwork & Professionalism : Collaborate effectively and uphold high standards in quality and timeliness.
What You'll Bring: - Experience : 5+ years as a Silkscreen Press Operator, preferably in the printing industry.
- Technical Skills : Expertise in foil and Cast and Cure film applications on a screen press.
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong background in screen preparation and imaging.
- Attention to Detail : Sharp focus on precision, color accuracy, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Mechanical Aptitude : Proficient in handling UV inks, troubleshooting, and using tools for maintenance.
- Physical Capability : Able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks involving bending and lifting throughout the day.
- Safety Mindset : Strong commitment to security and adherence to operational protocols.
