Omni Louisville Job Description

This position will serve food and beverages to guests at Omni Louisville's 3-meal a day restaurant, Neighborhood Services.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Setting tables according to type of event and service standards.
• Taking orders and answering questions/offering suggestions on menu selections.
• Communicating with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests.
• Recording transaction in MICROS system at time of order.
• Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
• Presenting accurate check to guest and processing payment.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Cleaning and setting up tables.

Qualifications

The qualifications include:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• 1 year serving experience with a quality establishment.
• Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to multi task.
• Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
• Ability to work flexible morning shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Star certification.
• Food Handler Certification.
