Job Summary: The Solar Store is expanding our sales department and seeking three new team members. This role offers a base salary plus commission, with potential earnings exceeding $100,000 annually. We are looking for friendly, motivated self-starters who are teachable and interested in a long-term sales career. While sales experience is not required, knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems is beneficial. Comprehensive sales and product training will be provided. Duties & Responsibilities: Uphold our core values in a low-pressure sales environment. Attend training sessions to become a consultative sales professional. Maximize income by closing leads and helping families transition to solar energy. Provide timely quotes and prepare contract materials and utility paperwork. Accurately prepare job packets for drafting and operations teams. Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure high satisfaction. Assist with collections as needed. Participate in marketing events such as home shows and community events. Stay updated on utility incentives and state and federal tax credits. Follow up on leads promptly. Be flexible with your work schedule, including some weekends. Respect and maximize the leads provided by The Solar Store. Work Experience Requirements: Valid Driver's License and eligibility for The Solar Store's automobile insurance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to move ladders and work on roofs. Construction experience is a plus. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, or Associate degree in a related field with 8 years of experience, or High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of progressive sales experience.
