Opportunity: Board Certified - General SurgeryThis is an excellent opportunity for a locum PA General Surgeon to join a well-established surgical team. You'll be working alongside dedicated professionals in a facility that values quality patient care and professional development.
Job Details:• 14 shifts per 28-day period
• 24-hour shifts (12 hours on-site, 12 hours on call)
• Inpatient responsibilities including rounding on post-op patients, inpatient/ED consults, OR work, and clinic follow-ups
• Working with 2 physicians (as of June 2025) and 1 eGS acute surgicalist
• Collaborating with 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• Supervision of APPs expected, with general surgery eGS acute surgicalist as the supervisor
• Strong nursing and ancillary staff support
• Access to medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services
• Focus on consults, trauma, and inpatient coverage
• Services include clinic consults, follow-ups, procedures, outreach, surgical procedures (laparoscopic, open, robotic), endoscopy, and trauma call coverage
• Teaching opportunities with Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs
• EPIC EMR system
