Job Description

This is a part-time contract position with the ability to travel to our Ewing, NJ office once a week.

Role summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our recruitment efforts and help attract top-tier talent. This individual will be involved in the entire global hiring process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and collaborating closely with hiring managers. A key aspect of the role is shaping a positive candidate experience while ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment journey.

Working closely with the HR Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support all global recruitment-related activities—from job postings to onboarding. The position requires effective coordination, tracking, and execution of recruitment strategies that benefit both candidates and hiring managers. This is a part-time contract position averaging 20 hours per week, structured as four hours per day or 2.5 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Publish engaging job advertisements across multiple platforms.
  • Review resumes and shortlist candidates based on defined job criteria.
  • Conduct initial interviews using behaviour-based interviewing techniques to assess candidate fit.
  • Maintain and update our applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter and BambooHR).
  • Schedule interviews and manage communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to gather feedback and determine next steps.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, including candidate pipeline status, scheduling progress, and feedback timelines, to inform data-driven hiring decisions.

Education/experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience
  • Previous experience or academic background in recruitment, HR, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of behaviour-based interview techniques
  • Tech industry experience is a plus

Skills

  • Must be fluent in English, oral and written.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using ATS and professional networking tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Bamboo).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • Ability to create strong and trusted relationships with a globally distributed team in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
