Job Description

About the position: As a travel Surgical Tech, you will assist in surgical operations by preparing operating rooms, arranging equipment, and ensuring a sterile environment. You will work alongside surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and the smooth execution of procedures. Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and ensuring the sterility of the environment
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure that all instruments are available and sterile
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control policies and procedures
• Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after procedures

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
• BLS certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience

Pay Information:

• $2,275 per week*
• *Estimated weekly pay packages are based on bill rates at the time this job was posted and include hourly wages as well as eligible reimbursements for meal and incidental expenses and housing. Bill rates can change frequently and without notice. Exact pay packages may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, experience and other customizations available to travelers.
