Job Description
Mauri Shoes, a Luxury Italian Footwear Wholesale Company is seeking a part-time administrative assistant for immediate employment at their office in Guttenberg, New Jersey.
Such figure will work jointly with the US sales manager, based in the NJ office, and the italian HQ and will be responsible for the management of the US office as well as administration.
· Hourly pay $20 - $24 depending on experience.
· 4 hours shift - MON/FRI
· 6 paid holidays per year
· 6 paid sick days per year
· 6 paid vacation days per year
Duties include:
· Accounts Receivable including processing customer invoices, credit memos, refunds and payments (accounting system: QuickBooks Online)
· Data entry into QuickBooks
· Online products’ inventory management (adding/ removing stock items, cross check online sheet with warehouse reports)
· Assisting with seasonal inventory report
· Light handling and distribution of packages utilizing UPS Worldship tool
· Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and provide relavant information (available items, prices, deliveries, …)
· Communicating with vendors
· Deposit checks through bank remote scanner
· Reception duties as needed
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks preferred)
· UPS Worldship experience (preferred)
· Check remote deposits experience (preferred)
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
· Detail and deadline-oriented
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Proactivity and hands-on approach
· Ability to Multitask
