Position Overview

The Director of Sales, Marketing & Events oversees the hotel's sales and marketing operations, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, advertising, and developing business plans. Responsibilities also include supervising sales staff, recruiting, training, and coaching to meet revenue goals. Proficiency in computer skills and experience with contractual agreements are essential. The position reports directly to the General Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a salaried position with a range of $140,600-$179,200. Benefits include:

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, preferably with Hyatt
  • Experience with hotel pre-opening is a plus
  • Proven success in sales roles
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Hospitality degree is an asset
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and customer service focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
