The Mayerson Company is a commercial real estate property management, development and acquisitions company that is in its 70th year. We have owned and managed Scripps Center downtown since it opened in 1990. We are a tenant first driven property management team. We have always operated the building with four full time facility maintenance staff, and we are looking for a new fourth person. The average tenure with our facility staff is 23 years and we are very fortunate to have such a long-standing team to take care of Scripps Center and its tenants. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cincinnati, OH, for a Facility Technician. The Facility Technician will be responsible for performing daily equipment maintenance, handling maintenance and repair tasks, managing building and facility maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The role involves ensuring that all facilities are operating efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Skills in Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Experience in Facility Management (FM) and Building Maintenance
• Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair tasks
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintenance- Responsible for maintenance on a wide array of building needs such as: HVAC, safety, plumbing, and electrical system repairs.
• HVAC – Maintaining proper function of cooling towers through greasing, and cleaning as well as checking belts, chemical levels, pressures, and closed loop water level.
• Safety- Required to trouble shoot alarm systems (this requires basic knowledge of computer systems.) Work on dry and wet sprinkler systems. Run fire pumps, emergency lights, and battery backup.
• Plumbing- fixing leaking faucets, toilets, water pressure valves, and sinks. Repairing water line leaks, and replacement of drain pipes.
• Tenant Relations - Providing tenants with the utmost professionalism and service in order to maintain a comfortable work environment. Responsible for working on a wide array of tenant requests such as: hanging pictures, adjusting vents, office upkeep, making keys, and replacing light bulbs.
