Job Title : Account Executive - Federal Services

Location : Herdon, VA or Dallas, TX - ONSITE

Key Responsibilities :

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management :

  • Identify and engage prospective clients in the government and federal services sectors, including federal agencies, government contractors, and related organizations.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients to understand their staffing and compliance needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to initiate relationships and generate job requisitions.

Strategic Staffing Solutions :

  • Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to identify, source, and place qualified professionals for roles in areas such as IT, cybersecurity, engineering, program management, and administrative support.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on industry trends, hiring strategies, and compliance with government contracting requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS).
  • Experience with selling Statement of Work (SOW) and project-based opportunities in the federal sector preferred.
  • Stay informed about developments in the government and federal services industry, including policy changes, contract awards, and talent demands.

Pipeline and Sales Management :

  • Utilize CRM/ATS software to track leads, manage client accounts, and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs through proactive outreach, client engagement, and closing placements.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing, account management, or business development within the government/federal services sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a staffing or recruiting environment.
  • Experience in RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) processes within the federal space.
  • Proficiency with CRM/ATS tools and MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter with strong project management abilities, analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS, E-Verify) is highly desirable.
