Human Resource / Accounts Payable Coordinator

We’re seeking a dedicated People Operations & Payroll Coordinator to support HR functions and contribute to operational excellence.

About the Opportunity
This position is ideal for a human resources professional who enjoys variety, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll assist the People & Culture Manager with core HR functions—from onboarding and benefits to compliance and payroll coordination—and step in when needed to ensure continuity. While this is an HR-focused position, you’ll also contribute lightly to finance-related tasks such as payroll administration and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

HR Support & Cross-Functional Backup

  • Provide dependable support for day-to-day HR operations and serve as a go-to resource in the Manager’s absence.
  • Ensure continuity of HR activities by partnering closely with leadership and stepping into varied responsibilities as needed.
  • Uphold company practices and assist with internal policy adherence.

Talent & Employee Experience

  • Maintain applicant tracking and human resource systems with up-to-date candidate and employee data.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring a seamless entry into the organization.
  • Conduct benefit overviews for eligible employees and address related inquiries with confidence and clarity.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with employee leave, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and other applicable policies and programs.

Payroll Coordination

  • Partner with the People & Culture Manager to manage the HR side of payroll, including data input, timecard review, and adjustments.
  • Alternate processing and auditing responsibilities to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with department managers to verify payroll accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in HR support roles or generalist positions
  • Proficiency with HRIS/payroll software (Paycom experience is a plus)
  • Hands-on knowledge of benefits administration and employee data management
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Friendly, professional communication style with a proactive mindset
