FPI Security Services is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Surveillance System Monitoring Specialist to join our team of security professionals. In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of our state-of-the-art surveillance systems. Your keen eye for detail and quick decision-making abilities will be instrumental in safeguarding our clients' assets and ensuring a secure environment. Position is Overnights.

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance camera systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Report any suspicious activity or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Write detailed reports on incidents, including descriptions of individuals involved and actions taken.
• Maintain a high level of attentiveness and alertness while on duty
• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and law enforcement personnel
• Dispatch security personnel or emergency services when necessary
• Observe and monitor dealership areas to identify irregular access and/or activities occurring in restricted areas.
• Operate a video management system to view camera feeds from multiple client properties
• Review video alerts and report incidents
• Export video footage and share files via SharePoint or OneDrive
• Report to the Supervisor any suspicious activities and/or irregular circumstances occurring at the dealership locations.
• Maintain daily log sheets and completes Incident Reports to note all unusual behavior
• Share all pertinent information with the next shift in regards to any suspicious and/or irregular activity occurred during their shift.
• In the event of an emergency, reports all suspicious or unusual activity to the proper individuals. Provides pertinent information the Police Department (PD), Fire Department, or Emergency Medical Teams when necessary.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.
• Maintain excellent vision and hearing.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Comfortable working with technology and surveillance software
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Must be willing to address emergencies promptly and appropriately
• Familiarity with surveillance systems
