Summary Provide instructional expertise and design direction for all assigned projects by interfacing with client stakeholders and cross-functional project team members to deliver award-winning and industry-leading learning solutions. Identify our clients’ performance improvement needs. Design effective training solutions within project budgets and project expectations. Support the development team toward successful creation of the vision. Ensure the overall project quality and success. Partner with other team members to craft and develop the solution(s)—team members may include specialists in project management, writing, editing, and media/graphics. Perform within a variety of team and workflow structures ranging from traditional/waterfall to agile. Represent a familiarity with a variety of modalities including but not limited to e-learning, ILT, VILT, interactive multimedia instruction (IMI), and self-study as well as programs and curricula. Interpret and organize complex topics and processes into content that is clear, organized, and easy to retain. Support client engagements that range from project-based to dedicated commitments. Create online courseware with rapid development content tools. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Instructional design background including strong knowledge of adult learning theory, learner needs, blended learning, modern learning experiences, and delivery of content. Ability to incorporate the most effective, leading-edge instructional approaches. Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders. Conceptual and strategic thinker, team player, excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers. Attention to detail and strong work ethic. Exceptional writing skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive deadlines (project management and time management skills). Education Two years’ experience within learning and training projects in a government, military, DOD, or corporate environment. Bachelor’s degree in information design, instructional development, human-computer interaction, HR, or related fields preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute.
